IAP in Ancient and Medieval Italy

January 10-18, 2013

Now in its eighth year, this program of the MIT History Faculty offers to between 10 and 15 MIT undergraduates a first hand experience of Greek, Roman, and Medieval archaeology - urban topography, architecture, public and private monuments - in the setting where they can best be explored: in the heart of Rome, and along the Bay of Naples (ancient Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius, and nearby sites).

We are no longer accepting applications for IAP 2013. If you are interested in participating in the program in IAP 2014, please contact one of the directors: williamb@mit.edu, egoldber@mit.edu, or sostrow@mit.edu.
